Files and processing

Uploaded files are processed to generate a limited preview and spreadsheet exports. Extraction currently runs on our server using local processing libraries rather than sending documents to a third-party AI API.

Data collected

We may store the uploaded file, generated exports, order ID, file name, processing metrics and email address if you provide one. Historical payment metadata may remain attached to an earlier order.

Retention

Uploaded source files and generated exports are automatically removed after approximately 24 hours. We may keep limited order metadata such as order ID, processing metrics and status for support and service improvement.

Payments paused

FolioParse is not currently requesting or accepting payment during open access. If paid access resumes, this policy and the checkout notice will be updated before payment details are requested.

Support requests

When you contact support, we store the email address, order reference, issue description and case history needed to investigate and resolve the request. Do not include card numbers, passwords or source financial documents in a support message.

Your responsibility

Please remove unnecessary sensitive data before upload when possible. Only upload files you are authorized to process.
